Description: Join us for an evening with author and journalist Tom Wilber '83 as he reads from and discusses his new book, Under the Surface: Fracking, Fortunes, and the Fate of the Marcellus Shale. Wilber has spent years intertwining key players and local residents on all sides of the Marcellus Shale issue, first as a reporter covering business, health, and environmental issues for the Binghamton Press and Sun-Bulletin and later while preparing his book.

Event Title: Pick Up the Parks & e-Cycling Event
Date: Saturday, April 28, 2012
Time: 9am-Noon Park Clean up work at 7 parks; Noon-2pm Thank You Picnic & Eco Fair at Round House
Group Sponsoring the Event: Monroe County Department of Parks, Sunnking Electronics Recycling, and Cascades Recovery
Cost: No fee. Please pre-register.
Age Group: All ages including families with supervised children.
Location: Contact Ryan Loysen for starting locations at Churchville, Durand Eastman, Genesee Valley, Powder Mills, Seneca, Webster and Northampton Parks.

Description:  Start at your preferred park for a 2+ hour clean up, then head over to Genesee Valley Park for the Thank You lunch and the EcoFest, noon - 2pm at the Round House in Genesee Valley Park.
