Description: The City of
Rochester sold its 7000 acres of watershed lands around Hemlock and
Canadice Lakes to NY State. These are the only two undeveloped Finger
Lakes and they were carefully protected by the City for decades. The
DEC has developed a unit management plan for this new Hemlock-Canadice
State Forest and is now accepting comments through April 15, 2013.
